Buncombe County Civil War Memorial

Step back into the heritage and intrigue of the American Civil War with the Buncombe County Civil War Memorial. Dedicated in 2001, the memorial honors soldiers of the Confederate and Union armies during the Civil War. The memorial is located on the property of the Smith-McDowell House, Asheville's oldest home, a short drive away from our rental cabins.
